Home made garden arch
I thought I would share this picture of my garden arch that I made before the snow hit us. I made it out of Birch. The small piece of land at the side of my house was being thinned out so had the chance to get some nice pieces of wood.  Hello Sam by Sam Glendinning

Climbing Roses
. Perhaps in a garage overnight and outside during the day - as long as it doesn't snow But do pt them up. I will put them in the shed at night and will bring them out during the day thanks for your help Rosa just back in from our gardening club night by Andy19

having a moan about...
of not being able to get out without getting wet.saw two Brent geese fly low over my head ,this was in the town ,that's a new one for me here in the city. I too saw a flock of geese flying over head yesterday, whilst stuck in my truck in 3 feet of snow by ilovemontydon

if this is usual! The snow predicted for tomorrow could put a halt to all that I suppose.... The so-called "botanical crocuses" are opening in the sunshine and my "Gypsy Girl" had too last week but they have now keeled over in the frost.  The ones in grass by david spikes

Just moved into a new house. Totally bare garden, but soon to be a veg plot, currently under 3-4 inches of snow. Can't wait until weather improves and days lengthen. hi, i have been very lucky that the weather has been lovely today. i was able to go by john morgan

Pippaany tips on reviving cyclamen which are in windows boxes and have had a weeks snow and minus 9 degrees? I have only saved one outside cycamen from a box of 6 from last year and it refuses to flower again.Several years ago I kept an indoor one re by gardnerjon

Talkback: Protecting plants from frost
which is surprising when you take into account our winters go down to minus 18. Ive also see prickly pear in the ground with snow all round it so it appears succlents arnt as tender as we think. So I wldnt bother fussing with them. Campsis peaches by happymarion

Candelabra Primulas.
? No problems in Lancashire, we're at about 1000ft, usually get snow. I have to keep an eye out for slugs though, they eat right through the stems. I think Im going to have to start on slug pellets earlier someone suggested Valentines day. If no snow next year I by Greenshoot

to terrify them in the ground yet Ok to pot on now ? , then leave outside ? One is new plant bought other day, other bought autumn only brought into greenhouse as was buried in foot of snow. Would not have bought it inside-doesn't need protection I wasn by bunnysgarden
