Talkback: A snow-covered garden
and there it survived quite happily although I don't think we had a frost in the 4 years we lived there. I am pleased to say it looks OK in the cold greenhouse even though we had weeks of frost after New Year and then, of course, the recent snow. I find that my by kholifin

Snow has gone and a lovely sunny winters day
How lovely to finally get rid of the snow.  It looks pretty when it first comes but I soon get fed up with it and want it to go.  So lovely to be able to see my garden.  It is a lovely sunny day and although cold will be out in the garden today by Lavender Lady

New plants but panicking over predicted snow/frost this week!
as the forecast is snow and frost for Sunday onwards and into next week. Most of the plants are fully hardy, but a few of them are borderline/frost hardy (Cistus, Verbena, Hebe). I live in Surrey. Do I get everything in this weekend while the weather will be OK by Dan 2

Problem with camellia
I have a large camellia which has been in the garden for ten years. Flowers beautifully every spring. Unfortunately the weight of the snow has broken one of the main branches which I have removed this morning. There is another large branch by Boardy

Talkback: Gardening jobs for snowy weather
We only had a light fall of snow in Bristol, Adam but I was out there with my biscuit crumbs for the robins and my camera. Now all our snow has gone but my desktop has been changed from a summer shot of Barrington Court to the snow scene of my by happymarion

Gladiolus
Hi,  I planted gladiolus chrome(saved from last year) in April before the unexpected snow.   I was wondering if anybody knows if they will grow?  Or will I have to dig them out and try to plant them again?  Or should I just give up hope.   Any by kru

Talkback: Hail damage
Hail is awful at this time of year. Two weeks ago we where battered by the NE wind and it brought in eight foot snow drifts on the Yorshire Moors. The wind picked up our 10 x 12 shed and deposited down the hillside. My fruit bushes are scorched by LifeonPigRow
