reply....I am doing exactly what you said about the Boad Beans already have some in from Autum some of which have been flattened by the snow so am replacing when grown in pots......thanks for the advice on the spuds it will now be a single row, might by Brian Williams

Well its snowing again in Sheffield. The weather here has been truly miserable for weeks. However have been really cheered up this morning as the first seeds sown in my propagator this year [ Agastache, Scabious "Chile Black" and Gaura ] have just by nigelcoad

My babies this morning
The only real damage was to the soft leaves of some Nicotiana affinis, that was from the hail that came with the thunderstorm in the early hours. The snow was a couple of hours later. Nicotiana back in greenhouse for a bit of TLC. O.M.G. Did someone by nutcutlet

WEATHER this week
,m starting things off at home in kitchen window Bbbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr freezing and snowing here,so fed up,so much to do can't get on..tho also got 6x2ft trench dug in front for lead pipes to be replaced,half garden and half existing by Brumbull

I love the idea of doing the shed clean up, but walking down my garden would be a no no, now the snow is melting my heavy clay is a quagmire, and would be completely ruined, not that I would be able to stay on my feet as I garden on a steep hill by kaycurtis

my 5ft  rosemary bush has broken in half  how can i rescue the broken half ???   please help  If branches have split with the weight of snow best just to prune those splits so you are leaving a clean cut. Then what I would do is wait until spring by liz stokes

Hi, l lost my Bottle brush to winter snow, then bought a new bigger plant, only to find that dead this last winter. How do l protect it in witer plz? Most bottle brush plants are not winter-hardy in the UK and need to be over-wintered in a frost by Saj
