Disappearing daffodils

Bluebells - White and Pink?

until re-planting in September, although not all bulbs like being out of the soil - snowdrops, for example, will simply dry out and die. If you can't put them in soil to allow them to die back naturally you may as well bin them. If you really need by Jante

such as hellebores will add winter interest with foliage and flowers in late winter and early spring and there's a whole host of bulbs for spring colour too starting with winter aconites and snowdrops through crocuses and narcissus which can all be naturalised by biggarden_smallknowledge

My snowdrops loved being under the snow, Pippa, and are giving a lovely display already. I reckon they are three weeks early. In my woodland garden crocosmia is up about two inches and the bluebells an inch. The cold weather is set to return by Flowers

snowdrops? Iris reticulata,mimosa,sweet peas, snow drops and tulipa ballerina. This weeks top 5 would be- daffodils to lighten up late winter alstroemeria-exotic looking flowers but perfectly hardy and trouble free perennial scarlet lobelia-always stunning by auntie betty

Winter wonders
