Talkback: Snowdrops
doesn't it lift your heart to see these pretty little flowers they are so welcome in the dreary days after Christmas, wish I could have the complete range but then that would leave the garden empty the rest of the year. The Snowdrop Valley, correct by kaycurtis

Snowdrops and bees
Just thought I would share this. I was working in a border today that was full of snowdrops and the sound of all the bees was unbelievable.  There were just so many of them (although they seemed reluctant to stay in one place for the camera!).  I by AliP

Snowdrop Identification
Came across these cool looking snowdrops and had a look online to try and identify them but couldn't really see anything which matched them completely. Anyone got any ideas what their variety is? Thanks, Dave Dont think anyone knows, or are too by dave1711

Talkback: Snowdrops
Ah, I have a theory about galanthophile types. They seem to see in snowdrops what most of us see in people - variety. There's the large, showy type like "Colossus", the shy but dependable type like nivalis and nivalis flore-pleno with its pretty by Anne

Ill snowdrop?
My first snowdrop of the year was a rather odd one. Instead of a graceful hanging flower it was upright! Is this plant infected by something or is it just due to some damage to the flower during the growing process. It also had some brown marks by Swedboy

Talkback: How to grow snowdrops
it's good that you mention not to take the leaves off as a lot of people would do this and wonder why they have no flowers the following year. Very useful item, my snowdrops are really bunched up by kaycurtis

Talkback: Planting snowdrops
I have tried for years to grow snowdrops from bulbs but all failed. Last month I purchased some snowdrops in pots that were well past their best but in-the-green. I have now replanted them all in a big pot where they will be left undisturbed. I by happymarion

I'm sure they're earlier this year. I've had some in bloom for a couple of weeks. My best birthday present was a few years back when I received 1,000 in the green snowdrops to plant up in early March.I worked at Hodsock Farm as a student, testing by James A-S
