Daffodils
popping up in unexpected places down to squirrels. I planted snowdrops in my back garden for years. They never flourished, but I got them coming up in the front garden where I didn't plant them. I've now got them growing in the back after planting them by Judith 5

Planting around Apple Tree
to be planting too close. Good luck! Thanks kiwimedic We've got a mature apple tree in the garden and I've currently got snowdrops flowering under it. Soon, in the nearby area there will be Glory of the Snow, followed by bluebells and cowslips.  And that's my lot by Brumbull

with the astilbes adding a fuzz of colour in the dappled shade. Try hellebors or a carpets of vinca minor. I'll just list a few plant ideas, maybe nice to add in some bulbs too: English bluebells, Snowdrops, Cyclamen, Liriope muscari, Lamium, Bergenia, Tellima, Wood by cat woman

When to plant spring bulbs
few weeks and plant the bulbs Honestly-it will make little difference Small bulbs like snowdrops, crocuses, scillas and so on need to be planted as soon as possible or they'll dry out and fail but they can usually be inserted between plants by ClaireCat

Spring ideas
arrives. It's getting a bit late for some bulbs but you can certainly still plant daffodils and crocus, and tulips next month. Avoid snowdrops, though - they will have dried out out of the ground and probably won't grow. You can plant tulips until December by Emmaandsam Emmaandsam
