Sooty mould
Hello, this is my first post on here. I have a lemon tree in the greenhouse and it's covered in sooty mould. I've cleaned all the leaves once, sprayed it with a spray suggested by my local garden centre, but it's back again. Does anyone have any by snowy43

Eunonymous needs a doctor quick!
Please help! My eunonymous, grown from a tiny plant and now 4ft plus, is covered with a black sooty like substance, now both leaves and stem. I thought it was sooty mould but was told that this does no harm. Now part of the shrub seems to be dying by keennovicecam

Mexican orange blossom
't remember if they went black but definitely dark brown and then they fell off. I now overwinter it in the greenhouse. Prob sooty mould.  Aphids last year were the culprits. I had this on sundance, skimmia and box last spring.  I washed with soap and rinsed off by Paula Reynolds

Talkback: Rust fungus on grass
affected by this sooty deposit. They were near a honeysuckle plant. We grew some in pots a distance away and they are OK. Any advice welcome. The sooty deposit on the beans sounds like sooty mould, which grows on honey dew, (sticky deposit secreted by Josephine from Wilts

Heating a greenhouse
faint black sooty covering on everything. Are either of these really harmful. On the plus side my seedlings are now taking off       The black stuff is carbon, whiich, in very small quantities isn't likely to be harmful. Nor is the smell going to harm by Roly2
