What are some of the best seed ordering sites for a potted veggie garden with delivery in the US? Thanks! I would like to grow sweet potatoes, are they difficult to grow from seed? After I've ordered by vegetable seeds, I then make a sowing by Anne

Quickest seeds to gerninate?
Hello everyone, I sow most  of my seeds initially  in an indoor propagator on my kitchen window sills & then move them on to my cold frames. I've sowed some wallflowers seeds that have germinated in 5 days. Recently I've sowed 3 sets of white cosmos by Hollie- Hock

Lavender from seed
January and April. as I was so busy with so much else in the garden, the lavender sadly got forgotten. I'll sow a few of each and hope for the best, keeping indoors/protected over winter if needs be. However, for best results, shall I leave the seed packs by sthlndngrower

Seeds not growing
in advance for your help I personally won't be starting any seed off in the soil at the moment. Rather, in trays/modules with good compost indoors or in a sheltered spot. Carrots and parsnips will be started next month. I help run a communuity allottment site by flowergirl4

Bedding plants
February so we can all be struck with cold, snow and hard frosts. I wouldn't bother with the cost of heating a greenhouse. Having said that I've geminated lobelia indoors and are now in the cold frame as an experiment. They were free seeds so nothing lost by gill barker
