sweet pea seedlings
tip but when is the time to do that? If I do it too early , won't it kill the seedling anyway? It's good to have the heat of indoors to get the seeds to germinate but as soon as they have you want to put them into a frost free greenhouse or somewhere by karen moffat

help needed with identification
such knowledgeable people just a click away. Everything grows from seed unless it's a sterile hybrid and they won't make any. You've got some seed, give it a try. I'd sow some now, fresh, indoors and some dried off, in spring. That way you have a double chance. I by break23

Problems with cerinthe seedlings
Having carefully collected my cerinthe seeds last year I sowed them a few weeks ago, they germinated really well and are currently in my conservatory. The true leaves are starting to sprout but the tips of these are turning brown at the end only by sarahford

Dying Rockets
! Try sowing just an eighth of a packet of seeds in a pot that size  Yep. Or even less. A lot less. Rocket turns into a very leafy little plant. I thin plants out to 4-5" apart in a large pot. The plants in the photo were both killing each other for root by Mizzli
