them to go. The good news is that mine do come back the following year and you can collect seeds and sow them. As with all seed collection it is the timing that is the difficult bit and mine get a bit untidy while I wait. by Supernanauna

Too late to plant more seeds?
I'm fairly new to gardening and follow seed packs exactly, but all the rain seems to have washed my parsnips and broccoli away. Is it too late to re sew? No, particularly as we've got a late season this year - seeds sown late will/should catch up by AJB

Grass!
that is recommended? Forget it -wait now until April when the soil is warm enough-optimum times are then and September-seed germinates fairly quickly and watering is kept to a minimum Sowing now is a waste of time.money and effort-sorry by Caz8

Used 4in1 now have patches
, and I think you shouldn't seed for about 6 weeks (due to the weedkiller!). A bit late to give you this advice but ideally you should have treated it 6 weeks ago, as April is a great time to sow grass seed. It gets a bit too hot for good germination by Brian22

lobelia advice needed
to keep it dry. It is also very easy with small seeds to sow them too thickly and this makes them all collapse. Hi m0rce, Sounds like your suffering from 'damping off' of your seedlings. A couple of things that might help - Mix the seeds with some silver by m0rce
