Collecting seeds
and dry them out further. For me I would sow them quite soon after collecting if they are ready. Foxgloves & poppies have thousand of seeds. My foxgloves seeds are ready now there is going to be so many of them. I plan to snip off the plants and shake by Debs10

Primroses and the like....
Just bought a few primroses to fill some spaces. I got them fairly cheaply but I've decided to sow my,own seeds. Obvious, I guess, but I've never considered actually doing this with primroses. Just a row or two in the veg patch. Who else does by Verdun

lawn revival
ive started seeding a worn lan with the dwarf version of perennial rygrass and am wandering if a lawn starter fertilizer would be of any use in increasing germination rates? Not really-grass will germinate at its own rate-I would not be sowing just by tkaye29

When do you plant seeds taken from this years plants....
until those seeds ripen and then sow them. I think that way I'm just behaving how nature does. Having said that some seeds you can keep and others it's best to sow straight away. It really does depend on the plant. I'm in my first year proper by Tootles

Wildlife flowers
I want to plant a steep bank with wildlife flower seeds. Can any one advise on a suitable mesh to place on the soil to stop seed washing away and where I could by it? Thanks Hi Trisha, it might be worth sowing the seeds into plugs, then planting by Trisha Webb

Aralia elata variegata
I have just ordered some Aralia elata variegata seeds as the plant, due to being very difficult to propagate, is very expensive! Does anybody know the best way and how to sow them? Also will they come true with the plant being a variegated form?? by Luke Shipley

Black Poppies
HI i have black poppy seeds when do i sow in pots If these are the very dark purple annual ones with grey green leaves I'd wait til it gets warmer and sow them straight into the garden. They don't like being transplanted.   I know that conventional by jamesburke
