Slender speedwell nightmare
My lawn is absolutely full of slender speedwell. Domestic lawn weedkiller has no effect whatsoever and the thought of hand weeding it all out fills me with fear and dread. Is there any solution other than to dig the lawn up and returf? As my by Hellsbells2

Speedwell (Veronica) The first and second picture looks like Lesser Celandine - by clicking on your photo, it enlarges the image dramatically. Have you noticed any tuberous roots when you pull a clump up, by any chance ? And does it have a yellow flower by tattianna

Overrun by blue flowers

than see it as a foe? Pippa, how good to see someone else has grass instead of a lawn. I love the dandelions too. I've actually planted 'weeds' like speedwell and daisies in my grass. I've reverted to a manual mower and keep it on the highest cut all by Richard Jones

sulphur to the bushes. Are there are the any chemical brands that have sulphur in them already? If not how can I treat the roses with sulphur?Also are you bale to tell me how to get rid of the speedwells in the lawn, with two dry seasons they are starting by pammeed

colour in a shady garden??
and mauve flowers. I have a camellia 'ruby wedding' in a pot, which (against all the odds) flowers its heart out in full shade in February. If you like speedwells, veronica 'Eveline' is supposed to tolerate light shade, and so far it seems to be happy under by one girl and her dog(s)

July in the garden!!
speedwell.  Second one looks like a poppy coming but not sure and haven't a clue about the third. Would be interested to know though.  Some weeds (wild flowers) are really nice and I've a tufted vetch growing through my rosemary which is really pretty so I by gardeningfantic
