Rusty patches on Muscari Big Blue
Muscari should be dying back now, so what is happening is probably quite normal. It'll be back next spring. Thanks for your reply but that is the smaller spring bulb I am refering to Muscari 'Big Blue' which is much bigger and flowers in late summer by Rosa4

Tulip & Narcissus bulbs
Someone told me that it's possible to plant spring flowerin bulbs in aquatic pots and plant them in the Autumn then lift them out after flowering, leave them in a quiet corner to die down then repeat the process again.  Is this right or was someone by tattianna

A bulb for all seasons
very tough assignment, mainly due to the amount of space in the pot, the dormant bulbs will still be taking up space therefore the ones flowering will not be able to be planted so closely. This is the reason most people plant up pots for spring by Tina Duffill
