Please ell me what to do with my summer bulbs!!!
are dahlias etc -too early for those- but they can be started off under cover. Ok here goes- Gladiolus- plant 10+cm/4-5ins deep between March/May. They should flower July-Oct. The corms then should be lifted in Oct & stored dry/frost free until the next Spring by PaperFlowers

Patchy Muscari River
and a large portion of muscari have flowered but there are completely bald sections of the muscari planting of up to half a metre long. It doesn't seem to be the shade or the aspect, could it be the depth of the bulbs as they were planted in several by Hellfor leisure

Talkback: Growing garlic in a clay soil
to break up the bulb into smaller cloves,it can be planted late Autumn or early Spring, I normally go for early Spring though. StaceyF - you plant each clove separately, & each clove should become a whole head when you harvest them in the summer. Bauchigirl by StaceyF

What do you think of this combination?
been busy on the Canterbury Bells in my garden in the odd few minutes when it is not sheeting with rain! I like the sound of this. I would underplant with bulbs for early spring interest. Your bees would also appreciate a winter flowering plant like by Tina_i_am
