A few of our bulbs.
/ corms in autumn ready for next spring - ideally ones that last more than a week or so. Our cyclamen coum, planted in the border, produces flowers over an 8 week period. I know that's not going to be possible with bulbs, but can you suggest anything by Berghill

Irises
successfully. The advice I would give is to divide them in late spring, dont plant them too deeply as they like heat about there feet Wait until they've finished flowering, then dig them up. Discard the oldest pieces and then plant where you want them, making by Furballs Cattery

Are Morrisons bulbs any good ??
Have been looking at Morrison bulbs in my local store.  They are very cheap only £1 for a small bag so wondered if anyone has tried them.  They have all the summer flowering ones -  I was tempted by the spring flowering bulbs in there in the autumn by Lavender Lady

tulips not flowering..
hello everyone.. i have a problem with my tulips this year.. they have not flowered as well as normal.. i was wondering if it was because of the dry weather we have had down south.. or do they have to be lifted and divided like other bulbs.. Hey by gardenfantic

Planting Tulips now or later
i be thinking about with regards to Tulips. Other bulbs like Crocus i have also potted up with no wrong doing - i believe. All the advice is you can plant all spring flowering bulbs from now except tulips but can't remember why-they are best planted by Cia

How to remove grass from established border
to be effective. Best to use it after bulbs have died down in spring but, again, I would dig over at that time. Lift the bulbs when flowering is over, clean soil and replant I suspected that would be the case, unfortunatly for me there is about 100 sq. metres by Briggsy

Talkback: Growing summer bulbs
back and see the flowers at last! http://www.markboltonphotography.co.uk/snowdrops-east-lambrook/ Reply to honestgreengrass: Yes, I think many spring bulbs provide food for bees. I enjoyed watching a large bee (not a bumblebee) feeding from crocus last by HONEYBUG1

Alliums
bigger pot, not more than 2 " wider.  I wouldn't bother dividing the two plants as their roots will be so intertwined it would only damage them and set them back.   Next spring, water them with liquid rose or tomato food to encourage flower buds. Thank by sarah wootton
