Potentilla
Like to leave my garden wildlife friendly in winter but have a potentilla that is getting too big, would like to prune it but is it best to wait till Spring?   Potentillas seen pretty tolerant, you can probably do it when it suits you. by LizzyT2

Clematis Daniel Deronda
Planted this clematis September last year. It is coming up nicely with 6 flowerbuds already but something is eating the leaves. Suggestions ???? Slugs and snails love clematis when it's fresh in spring so protect it with organic slug pellets and go by Marianne2

spuce tree called FAT ALBERT
TREE HAS STARTED TO SHED ITS NEEDLES IS THIS OKAY OR IS IT SOMETHING MORE SERIOUS Spruces can shed their needles in spring, although not usually all at once. If you are getting fresh green growth at the same time it should be fine. by SCENIC22
