Vine leave bumps
We have a grape vine on our fence in our London garden, this spring and last spring there is several bumps on some of the leaves - it looks a bit like warts! Has anyone any idea of what this could be or how to cure this? I can't seem to attach by Rachel Smith2

about plants
do you plant spring onins and onins outside now when we live in cullingworth if no harsh frosts are forecast then plant out, but harden these young plants off in a coldframe or just bring them in at night for a week or so, you can always cloche them by dan

the leaves. Has any body any ideas on what it is and how to cure it please. Your problem will be solved when it loses its leaves this Autumn and you get a new lot next Spring.  If they are wierd in the Spring then a diagnosis can be made. by robert cuff

Aspidistra Elatior
in spring. I agree, divide and repot in the spring to take advantage of the long growing season ahead so it can grow away well and fill the new pots  I'll do that then.. Many thanks for your advice by NigelHewitt1

OVER WINTERING PELEGONIUMS
/conservatory over winter - they can go on flowering but best to let them rest by reducing watering. Otherwise pot up your pelagoniums, prune them really hard back to about 6" height and keep in a frost free place until spring. Water very sparingly and remove yellow by NUNU

Beech hedging not retaining leaves
should give it its annual trim in August.  As a trimmed hedge is continually renewing its leaves it should be fed with a good general fertiliser such as blood, fish and bone in spring and a mulch of well rotted garden compost in autumn. If you miss by Paul Gaffikin

Why won't my Oullins Gage fruit?
I planted an Oullins Gage about three years ago.  It was a two year old bare root tree at the time.  It hasn't fruited since then and so far this Spring it has only produced a very small number of flowers. I have fed it each Spring with fish, blood by Squeaky73
