Kerria japonica 'Pleniflora' pruning
is the best time of the year to do this? Should it be done late spring after flowering to allow new growth this year? Prune it back right after flowering. Cut all the stems that have flowered right back as hard as you like. Leave any younger stems by LeadFarmer

overgrown rockery
I have a small overgrown rockery which is riddled with couch grass, it also has autumn flowering cyclamen and spring bulbs in. My plan would be to remove the cyclamen corms and bulbs and then use weed killer on the grass and replant in spring. Could by Gill13

You will lose them soon to frost, cold and wet if left outside-get them under cover and do not cut back until next spring. You might find the leaves go mouldy anyway and will need to be removed Many thanks, sotongeoff! I used window boxes as a by northchiel

when should I prune fushias - I live in North Devon Hello Annie, I know that fuchsias can look a bit messy in the winter and it's tempting to cut them down. However you need to wait for spring. When they begin to sprout again, you'll be able to see by annie11

Alpine Narcissus
I've managed to save some seds from my tiny Narcissus Rupicola, do I sow them now or wait until spring? I've not grown them, but I would be inclined to sow them now. Most narcissus seeds need a spell of warmth followed by cold to germinate, so won by Patsy2

Fuchsia cuttings
.  Is this odd?  when can i plant them out?  they are getting quite big now. Not now-and if they have been kept indoors they will not like the chilly conditions out doors You will be better to keep them ticking over until next spring then plant them out -deeper by Millers666
