Japanese weeping cherry
I planted a japanese weeping willow in my front garden last summer. This spring I have leaves on some of the lesser branches but the main branch is bare of leaves. I've also had no blossom. I live on the west coast of Scotland, not far from the sea by tiggysum

clematis - Ernest Markham
I am new to this and my first attempt didn't seem to work, so will try again. I planted this Clematis in the spring in a suitable position against an archway expecting large red flowers.  It has grown quickly reaching the top of the arch but not a by greenmaid

Can anyone tell me the name of this tree.  It has silvery leaves and yellow blossoms with a pineapple fragrance.  Unfortunately I think this tree is quite old and a mainh branch has no leaves on it this spring.  Can anyone help? What you described by Elizabeth Kelly

castor oil plant
I bought a castor oil plant from malvern spring show in a 3inch pot could it be grown on in bigger pot for the summer as it grows very tall and a dont want it to swap other plants?

Thinning Cannon Hall grapes
Does anyone have any knowledge of thinning Cannon Hall Grapes.  We have an old vine which we pruned quite hard in early spring and we have an abundance of bunches forming.  We have received conflicting advice as how best to thin them - does anyone by Jill Browning

No flowers
Hi just wondering what is wrong with one clump of my Delphiniums as they have not flowered for two years. Usually a sign that that the clump is over crowded-you can divide it or next spring when the new growth appears take basal cuttings and start by keeleykins

cabbages
I grew some spring cabbages for the first time this year, I managed to protect from the blasted pigeons all winter and they look really good.  On closer inspection however they have no hearts, what happened? Same with mine.  I have planted more than by annaloubee

Cydonia oblonga (Vranja) develops rust over all the leaf and all of the leaves every spring.  the leaves fall off each time and the six-yearold tree grows new ones.  sometimes the flowers manage to set fruit but then they fall off.  it grows in a by jill williams
