I have had some lilly in containers, for 5 years, i want remove them clean the containers, and change the soil,what is the best time to do this, now or spring before they start to grow If they have died back completely then it is safe to do it now by graham cosgrove

Bone meal or Fish bone and blood??

Pruning Help
I have a very overgrown honeysuckle which is top heavy and has a spring and summer flowering clematis entwined with it plus a couple of tall roses. Does anyone know when and how I should prune them please? They were like it when we moved in, we by wickismith

in advance Nathalie My advice is to stay off it and leave it alone till the Spring-it is getting too late for any treatments and walking on it is doing more harm than good You can still do aerating, topdressing, and feeding then Just ignore and don't look by Pebble Garden

Foxglove illumination pink
My foxglove illumination pink plants are growing apace over this winter. I have high hopes they will be large by the time I plant them out in the garden in the spring. I have potted on twice....second time today....and they seem eager to grow by Verdun

Hi, Sorry if im in wrong place!!!   but i dug up some potatoes yesterday which have been in veg plot since last spring! they looked fine, but ,can they be eaten????? lf they are they firm and not green-why not? Thanks for that. I dug the potato bed by cindysimp
