Talkback: Spring blossom on fruit trees
in they are perfectly hardy. A good all round fertiliser in the spring would help. There are lots of pruning tips available in books or on the internet. Bay Trees - have decorative trees outside house, north facing, seem relatively happy but one has leaves by kathy korpe

Hurry up and start spring for goodness' sake!
given me for my birthday, I'd have told them they were mad.   Now I fear it might be me that is nuts! If you've got the weather we have, not freezing, not raining (too often) you can move plants. But I do agree. Roll on Spring.  Are you a born again by Steve Johnson

spring lawn feed via a spreader
Can anyone advise what is a good spring feed for lawns using a spreader?  Our lawn has moss and weed through it so will give it a rake and aerate it first but have no idea what feed is good to use at this time of year. Immediately-do nothing by Gill Lindfield

Talkback: Spring flowers - my least favourites

Talkback: Birds: helping garden birds in spring
Chris, 2 metres? You seemed about 3 metres up! ? I disagree with the thought that you can keep feeders up in Spring/ Summer. I have , for the first time, and , reluctantly, took down my feeders. To my amazement , i have had just the same by karinhoppe

Can I save my spring/summer bulbs
Hi All! Like many others I stored spring and summer bulbs in a container in the garden and they've nearly all bolted including tulip, hyacinths, fritillaria rubra - I got them out yesterday to start planting and although they smell pretty bad by Liz Douglas
