brown leaves on my broad beans
but hopefully you should still get a crop and the beans will be perfectly edible.   If your bean plants are flopping about a bit, try staking them with canes to allow air to flow between the plants - this will help reduce the spread. And don't compost the bean by bluejan

Frosted tulips
There was a hard frost last night and now my tulips are drooping. Will they right themselves again or should I stake them? Just leave them alone, as they warm up they will standup again. Thanks MF, first Q&A on this board! They are halfway up now by toonia

HESTIA dwarf r-beans
I have these growing well in a very large tub. Do they need staked in any way?  Would that be canes, net  or maybe 'pea' sticks?  Thank you, Maggie I am growing the same this year and think mine might need some stakes to hold them up.  If they get by staffsmags

Rhyncospermum Jasminoides
I have recently bought one of the above and was thinking of putting in a planter in front of a wooden fence panel. Searches suggest it can grow to anything from 3 metres to 6 metres (currently about 1 metre). Will it need serous staking? Also by chilli lover

Thuja plicata 'Atrovirens'
Hi I've just planted a Thuja hedge and I'm not sure whether to stake or not. The hedge is protected from wind and in a sheltered position. Also, should I encourage the pants to have one leader or just leave them to get on with it. If it helps by petehaskell

Can I reuse, or should I discard?
I always keep the stakes to reuse next year. But is this a good idea?  Every year my tomatoes get Blight. And what about the containers I grow the tomatoes in? I always  wash these out before storing. Thanks for advice. Maggie I believe by staffsmags

Plant Apple Tree
is waterlogged-like now, or frozen like 10 days ago Other than that it is a good time as the tree itself is dormant-you must stake it firmly-though. Thank you very much by Jen 2
