New Lawn has dead patches
someone has placed an object on top of them and killed the grass, the site is sunny, open and of course wet!  Any ideas please? do you have a dog? no, and no dogs can enter the garden, could it be a fox? If its square it's unlikely to be an animal I think by Heather Drew2

sleeves - if you get the sap on your skin, especially on a sunny day, you'll get huge painful red wheals across your skin - I was quite poorly when as a child I decided to clear an overgrown part of the garden on a very sunny day. On the plus side - they by petehaskell

Non flowering : Lilac - In a pot
We have a lilac planted in a pot whicjh is now about 5 years old. Each year it has a single white bloom (panicle ?) It hasn't been repotted and stands in a sunny spot. How can I encourage it to bloom ? Chris A lilac 5 years in a pot with little by Chris 7

rental garden
I am moving into a rental house and have been given permission to plant in the garden - as long as i don't alter the shape of the border.It is a very small garden (5x2meters, tops) with borders on the sides and a small patio of a similar size.I have by Gail25

you I'd buy her a Jasminum polyanthum - you keep it in a pot and place it in a sheltered sunny spot outside for the summer, then bring it indoors to flower in the winter.  It has the most beauticul fragrance.  Then in the spring you cut it back by forest_gardener

At last
At last got a sunny day up the allotment today down here in Tenby,it was just great turned mi raised spud beds over a bit and the old manure has settled in just nicely just waiting for spuds,,water buts emptied and a touch of jayes bought em up by Alan4711

Front Garden
sunny aspect most of the day. I have bought 5 oleander plants in 2litre tubs,which are now sitting in the back garden waiting to be put in. My plan is to put garden weed conttrol fabric on it before planting  and  then cover with stone slate or chipping by simmscm
