Planting beneath buddleia and weigela
a beginner gardener and would welcome any suggestions. bergenia,hellebore,or iceberg or as I have fern. I love buddleia despite my husbands protests that its a bomb site plant,the cheek. I have buddlea mixed with weigela. What I actually have beneath by Cumbriafanatic

Help with Sweet peas
I'm new to gardening and it's fast becoming my favourite pastime. I've just brought my first Sweet pea plugs and am after advice to plant them. I have cans, in a great sunny spot, but when I look at the plants in the tray they are very spindly by Michael Yeowell

Growing fruit
Having watched a-z of gardening on iplayer I am inspired to try blueberries in a pot, we are quite exposed here and not the sunny weather of some places but wonder if they would be ok in a greenhouse and what else I could grow fruit wise in a pot by bunnysgarden

be appreciated. Many thanks. I've had one for years but only as an indoor plant. Mine came from an Aunt who had the original in a sunny conservatory, but not sure how they would do outside. Have you considered the evergreen winter flowering clematis 'Freckles by pinkpeony

Help! Droopy fig
I bought a small brown turkey fig from the garden centre in the summer and I read that you have to bring it indoors in October so I did.  It sits on a table in the kitchen, not too close to the french windows to avoid drafts, but not in total by cloud8

Plotting where the sun is going to shine
've got.as you say the garage will cast some shade but if your garden is south facing and the garage is at one side this will be either in the morning eastern side or in the evening western side. one good idea is when you've time and a sunny day spend by ANGIE DAWSON

Day lily not flowering
(in north London) and we haven't had any flowers since planting them.  They are in a sunny spot in our north facing garden, near some crocosmia and a spirea that both do well.  Apart from the odd hole caused by slugs in one or two leaves, they look by SiwanS

has disappeared, are they slug resistant???? As I peruse the ice and frost outside, I do wonder if the weather is due to the Gardeners World Magazine. No sooner in there an article about the need for drought resistant plants, then we have two wet, cold by kaycurtis

Although they aren't garden birds "waggies" do come into towns alot during the winter. One dark winter evening I was doing some Christmas shopping and could hear lots of bird noise. Looking up there was a tree full of Pied Wagtails! I assume by Chris

Agapanthus
is dry.   There are varieties that are hardier than others. We moved here recently and it's the first time in years that I've had a garden sunny enough to grow them, so I planted some in a pot last year - they've overwintered in a sheltered spot by Ann Wight
