Sweet Pea
can I grow  my standard Sweet Pea on hanging baskets? Hello, Sweet peas can grow fairly tall & need something to climb up. You can get Bijou types which look as if they are shorter & might be more suitable for baskets alex03 wrote (see) can I grow by alex03

Would anyone have an idea as to why my sweet peas are looking so poor? Their leaves are rapidly losing their colour and dropping off. Only the top growth looks green. As you will see, I have grown them under a weed suppressing fabric but I wouldn by nickharr

horzontal sweet pea vase (as seen at chelsea)?
Hi, I have a sweet pea-related question and I was hoping you could help... My mother visited the Chelsea flower show this year and saw some specialist (horizonal) sweet pea vases... She would like one for Christmas, but cannot remember the name by Ben Armstrong

And another....... I planted sweet peas in toilet roll tubes in October - they are growing well and are approx 3-4inches high with 3 pairs of leaves. Someone once said to get better plants that will flower for longer you need to remove some leaves by Lucy3

Sweet Peas
I have grown some sweet peas in a container, they were sown in autumn last year and they are good strong plants but they are only flowering at the top. How do I get them to flower further down? You dont, they flower at the top as in most flowers by samshoward

Some people say you should sow sweet peas in autumn. I've always found that gives you the added problem of keeping the plants alive for longer, without much benefit. I've tried soaking the seeds overnight and sowing them straight from the packet by Emma 2
