I love the swifts as well Kate. I look for them every year in May and I so look forward to hearing first one screeching high in the sky, they always seem to arrive here in Bournemouth in the beginning of May and I always make a note in my diary by donutsmrs

Swifts

I'm a bit excited. I've just watched a pair of swifts go under the fascia boards. Resident sparrow made a noisy exit. Super, Welshonion. Next door neighbour has 4 swift nesting boxes under the eaves, just saw the first ones arrive today too by Welshonion

The Swifts are Back

.I think it is an ideal way to get rid of some of my rubbish and help the wildlife. I too have noticed the Swifts return, I had only mentioned in the morning to my husband that the swifts should be back soon and there they were, swooping about above me by Frieda (London)

Joe Swift - Gardeners World Circular garden design

to either a link or book. The garden Joe Swift designed consisted of, two circular lawns (one of the circles may of had stones in the centre, I am a little unsure on accurate detail), the circluar lawns also had a narrow pathway around them by Georgie Robinson
