white bits on plants, it's not whitefly because they don't move when the plant is touched, could they be greenfly eggs, if not what are they.       If they look like tiny bits of thread they're probably thrips, another sap-sucker. treat as aphids by Zoomer44

Mystery Houseplant
as it is near some orchids that I believe have shore flies and thrips (I do not think the flies will bother it but uncertain on the thrips) and the leaves are looking a bit pasty and brownish at the bottom of the plant.  I would love to know what it's proper by Baileyana

luck Thank you Jean maybe the manure indeed. Could they be Thrips (thunder flies). sound like they are too big for thunder flies.. I thought of that too..am sure enviromental would be able to assist on advice... Im not sure what thunder flies are. I by Cia Parker

problem. Thrips are a possibility. Try using one of those stick in insecticide sticks which work sytemically.This solved my problem. I am a novice and new owner of my first very large (and I am told rare) aeonium umbrellata(at least that is what by Carmaine
