Something digging up my Cherry Blossom trees
to find that this mulch has now been dug up and spread around the grass surrounding the tree. I started tidying it up but every morning it would be messed up again. What kind of animals would be doing this? Thanks in advance, Astroboy. by astroboy

Frost
Hi everyone, first time poster, but long time reader. I have just walked round my very frosty but sunny garden and it confirmed my view that excessive tidying is a bad thing [my wife would confirm that this does not just apply to the garden] Anyway by nigelcoad

Looking for a friendly gardener in Lyme Regis
My wife owns a cottage in Lyme Regis with a small garden - we are looking for a friendly gardener to keep it looking neat and tidy. It is mostly just keeping a small lawn trimmed (mower supplied) and a bit of light weeding and pruning to keep by KeithWU51

lightweight spade and fork set
- they are lighter than average but still strong. If your father doesn't do large scale digging any more, but just works on keeping borders tidy, you might also consider a border spade and fork - these are 2/3 the size of the normal items, so considerably lighter. by Jane Markovic

Nipping Dahlia tips
graham.  I never do this. When it's fully flowering in late summer I cut top clusters sometimes to curb growth and tidy it somewhat . Best just to let it grow I think I nip out the early flower buds on the taller ones to make them branch out-that might by Graham1977
