to be arrested but have recovered and now I am harvesting some lovely sound fruit which are delicious. Although there was a lot of blight on the tomatoes at our allotment, by picking off the blackened stems, I still got a good supply. The plants in my greenhouse by Lorna

grow many plants from them. Some people have real problems with tomato blight, in which case grafted plants would be well worth a go. The same thing goes if you're growing yours for a show. Otherwise I think it's more fun to use seeds. Emma by newallotmenteer

arthritis rather than red tomatoes. I love Roma tomatoes, but won't grow them again as they are a bush variety. As you say, blight is terrible and it's necessary to spray, but it's very hard to spray plants which are thick with foliage carrying dozens by bobnmal

Non chemical solution for blight?
from sale to the public soon - next year I think. I used it on my tomatoes at the first signs of blight (at least I think that's what it was) and it does seem to have stopped it progressing. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has good results by Lynne Currie
