I have vowed only to grow early potatoes anf harvest them before the dreaded blight, and only Gardeners; Delight or similar tomatoes and yellow varieties which were the only ones that escaped the blight. I too will be growing my veg, plants indoors by happymarion

I have sown some tomato seeds this weekend and sweet pea. It is just great to be out in the garden, and it is lovely to walk into a lovely warm greenhouse. I have my little heaters in my greenhouses and it keeps them nice and warm. My fuchsias by donutsmrs

I got my first green house last year and grew tomatoes which unfortunately got blight. It was mentioned that i should have used tap water instead of rain water. Is there a possibility this disease will carry through into this year if I grow a by trigger20

potatoes
my potatoes have little green balls on them ,they look like tomatoes,but they are not,can anybody help me please ?? Move away from the plant-they are the fruits of the plant and must not be eaten- quite toxic-a similar question was asked last week by bec2

I've had great success this year with my tomatoes, its the first year I've planted my tomatoes from seed and I chose the Moneymakers variety. I gave a lot of my plants to family and friends and they too had the same luck. Its my first year growing by Lorna

pathetic cucumbers
i doing wrong?? i also hav brown patches coming on all tomato stems, not soggy but surely not good! whats that all about?? you guys always give me good answers, good luck this time  Jo sounds like blight to me.   There is a long discussion here by jo taylor2
