Greenhouse
it sets, thus attaching the frame to the concrete in the ground. The greenhouse screws onto the frame. This meant I could have an earth floor for growing things eg tomatoes. It hasn't blown away yet! At first I had a Parasene heater, then OH put up a cable by bunnysgarden

Veg to sow in February...
move it to anywhere in the garden for convenience. i have sown some seeds 3 weeks ago and they all come throu but i planted them in the greenhouse the seeds sown were carrot,cabbage,cauliflower,beetroot,onion,tomato,sweet pea by Zoomer44

Pots , planters and compost

several times, I'm trying to decide what to grow in the GH bed which isn't a tomato, there's space for 9 plants, decided on what to plant in 7ish spaces.   Top of my list is this site .  I like to get gardening books from the library - just to look by Brumbull

Bargain Hunting
tubs/troughs that will last more than one year. I have builders buckets but they are usually for my tomatos. Anyone got any contacts or cheap ideas. I need something for climbing French beans and sugar snap peas. Courgette, potatos and greens will go by Greenbucket

Seed Sowing
vermiculite or a heated propagator, but so far things are going well, my hanging basket tomatoes have emerged and there are signs of violas germinating - and it has only been a week or so!   This is what I was looking for This is only my second year by Mattbeer87

Apple /Pear trees
then you can leave them in pots and just add a good quality feed every few months during the growing season. You can also feet tomato feed once a week when the fruit are starting to swell if you keep them in their pots. I have cherry, apple and plum trees by Janet Smith3

Late winter cuttings - what next
. They are on module trays but the pot part is 2x2x3" can see some roots at the healthy plants. Just wondering if I should feed or change the compost as it was old tomato compost!! I took cuttings about same time as you RD and re-potted them about 4-6 weeks ago by * Red Dahlia *

heard MDon saying that you should pinch out when planting them out, so I may try this year. They have been out every day and in at night; I think I treat them the same as tomatoes - it is going to have to be pretty warm before I let either go 'clubbing by artjak

what to intercrop with squash?
(last year's crop was dire due to the drought), so I'm trying tomatoes (Ferline) instead with Borlotti beans this year in the squash bed.  Whatever you try, the squash will soon cover everything, so either a fast-gowing salad (beetroot might just make it by General Disarray
