Pot Grown Potatoes
, salad leaves, aubergines, tomatoes, courgettes in pots..the only thing i would say is when growing any root veg in pots make sure the pots are deethis is my 1st year at planting vegp enough or you will end with with stubby veg....this is my 1st year by alisondicky

will not thrive if the nutrient levels are too low! They counted germinated seeds and the size and quality of the seedlings. Then they tested for growing on young plants and seedlings - 20 snapdragon and 20 tomato seedlings were potted up in each compost. Again by Daintiness

How To Start Veg Growing
to sow, fertilise, thin out etc. Some things grow very well in pots, such as tomatoes like Tumbling Tom, strawberries specially for pots, spring onions, dwarf runner beans, such as Hestia, carrots (as they like light soils, not clay). jon lets just say by tony68

1st ever greenhouse!
year of growing in a greenhouse and it is my pride and joy. I have been able to get decent tomato crops at last without the dreaded blight getting them. I also grow lots and lots of chillies  cucumbers and herbs and also start off all my other veg by Tilley Bancroft

Paper pots versus what?
then like tomatoes indoors in the cool greenhouse, but never earlier than that.  Hi chilli lover , I was in a shop recently named "Dealz" and they were selling compressed recycled cardboard pot in 3" and 4" pots for €1 ;49c I started to use them last week by chilli lover

what jobs done over easter.
planted 60 broad beans into small pots in the GH and finally planted tomato seeds into modules in windowsill propagators in the south-facing front room bay (they're usually up in 4 days as it's so warm in there, after which they'll go into the cooler by barbury gardener

catch up. Greenhouse plants are different though, I sow at the first chance i.e tomatoes. Yes, not too deep...just slightly. I agree totally with point about growing conditions and light. They need as much natural light as possible nowCosmos are prob 4 by sthlndngrower

Leaving tulips in the ground
draining soil. Even if you dig them up dont expect them all to come back when replanted. Some people treat them as annuals. I plant a few pots each year with packs from Lidl.  After dead-heading  I feed with tomato fertiliser, or home-made comfrey by Charlie November
