to you, Please check if they sterilise it too - our council doesn't, as I found out last year - ivy seedlings everywhere, tomatoes everywhere, and a friend was unlucky enough to get japanese knotweed from the council compost too (which they then charged by Helen, Malvern

My husband insists in digging in teabags/old tomatoes/old cucumber into the soil. Is this doing any good to the soil? I have a laurel hedge which generates a lot of leaf trimmings which I have shredded. Can I compost these or are they poisonous. I by compost

fine. I live in mid west France and our weather hasn't been too brilliant/ Far too windy and a lot more rain than usual. I've already planted out courgettes and some tomatoes so it'll be interesting to see how they survive. I have lots of back up plants by elgin-beehive
