Need help with tomato plants
For 2 years I have tried to grow tomatoes in my greenhouse. Every time, the tomatoes seem to grow out of hand!!! I've put them in cages, tied them to sticks, always prune them, and try to find determinite types but even those didnt stop growing by pierox38

Broken top tomato
After combination of rain & a snail snapped off the growing top of my Gardeners Delight foot high tomato plant, I'm hoping to grow another tomato from the broken tops.  I'm also wondering if the side shoots (that we're normally supposed to pick off by Pen01

I have grown tomatoes in large pots outdoors and there is plenty of fruit but when should they ripen? I have already ripped up and binned three tomoato plants (Sungold) which had become infected with grey mould. The leaves turned crinkly and were by marybakers

Grafted tomato plants
Anyone trying grafted tomato plants? I am growing gardeners delight and Shirley. Picking now and bumper crop heralds but the plants are expensive. I intended to grow standard tomatoes alongside to compare so I'm unsure if I would have had agood by christopher2

best cherry tomato?
can the forum please tell me the best cherry tomato ,in their opinion , it  will be grown in a greenhouse............ i think  a fave was mentioned in the march issue of G W  , cant find my copy tho.......... Gardeners delight is delicious. I grow by mark greenall

tomato plant spacing
Can someone please advise me on how to space my tomato plants. I have put 3 plants per gor-bag and lined up the gro-bags directly next to each other lengthwise, giving 3 rows of plants. I have put them in my greenhouse and fitted a drip feed system by garden potterer

tomatoes-growbags or not growbags?
Can anybody tell me whether it is a better idea to grow tomatoes outside in a growbag or, can the crop be just as good, if you grow directly into the ground. The crop can be better if they're planted directly into the ground, as long as the soil by artychris

Silvery spots on tomato leaves
Can someone help identify this problem please? I have 12 tomato plants in a greenhouse and an increasing number are affected by silvery white/ light tan, almost pearlescent spots on the lower leaves but spreading upwards. The affected leaves by Andy Downing

Self-seeded tomatoes
Sorry if this is a dumb question but is there any merit in potting up the self-seeded tomatoes in my greenhouse bed? They are such vigourous little plants! thanks Nothing to lose really! I'm sure Italophile will be able to advise. Last year I had by chilli lover
