What to plant after tulip fire?
Hello!  After removing all my poor tulips with tulip fire I want to reuse the pots and soil for my petunias.  Is this safe? There is little that I have found on the web apart from possible contimination with lillies and snakeshead plus 2-3 years by laura_hayward

Tulip Buds dying
disappointing tulip displays recently. Yes, I agree. Tulips do need water when growing, and have to be watered when in tubs if there isn't enough rainfall. This happened to many of mine, and now Tulip Fire has spread through the lot.  I sincerely hope this isn by Glensnan

Sprouting Tulip Bulbs
I bought some Tulips in September and waited until now to plant them (avoiding Tulip Fire as advised), but when I opened the bag I found they were all sprouting. One already has an inch long shoot. Is this too early? Did I not store them cool enough by Pebble Garden

It's made my day......
way they would be happy here though, added to which it is very windy - looking out at the tulips ricking steadily out there.   ...I can't recall growing Agastache before... there's one called 'Raspberry Summer', a bright pink that appeals to me by Verdun

Talkback: Slug-proof plants
early show in the spring. I've had snail damage on the leaves of tulips but all other bulbs. especially alliums seem to be immune. To get a sure-fire spectacular display of flowers why not try small shrubs eg. hebes. just grow them large enough by Sharon14
