Daffodils
naturally-it will be worth it. They need 6/8 weeks at least for you can remove the leaves-when they have gone brown People used to tie up stems and leaves to make the plant look tidier while dying down. Daffodil leaves must be left to die down for at least 6 by Desire For Gardening

Tall Raspberries
I have had a bumper crop of Glen Ample raspberries this season. However next years fruiting canes have grown to about eight feet. Do I leave them alone. Prune them back to six feet. That is the height of the supporting wires. Bend them over and tie by John Berry

Non climbing beans
I bought a packet of Thompson & Morgan climbing beans 'Fasoid' but they are just growing straight up and not climbing up the cane obelisk I made. I've tried tying them to the sticks but they just grow up and don't curl round it like my runners by diggingdoris

Can I train a rambling rose over an arch?
i was given a rooted cutting of an unnamed but rather lovely red rambler and, three or four years later, it is beginning to take off. I planted it next to a cheap metal garden arch and it is now throwing out long shoots which need to be tied up by Gardening Grandma

twine + tits = damage to plants
I tied runner beans on their support, as I believe I should do. Now, I used twine (natural colour beige) and tits always come and try to pick them loose, damaging the plants. Except putting plastic ties to support plants, does anyone have by nadiamaz
