StrongWeedkiller needed for Valarian and Buddlea bee friendly ?
This does not make sense, if you want to be bee friendly just pull it out by hand or chop it down? Sometimes buddleia and valerian grow out of walls, so it's very difficult to eradicate them by hand. by May2

Invasive Plant/weed
like Valerian to me.  I do have it in my garden but I have to keep it under control.  The roots do get big.  Some in my front garden had grown so thick that when I pulled it up it lifted up some of the tarmac pavement !! Don't know if anyone else has by Eileen2

Talkback: Wilding the Chelsea Flower Show
the plantings are only temporary since all that valerian would absolutely swamp the streets and buildings and walls of London if it was allowed to seed! Thank you happymarion, perhaps I should have called the blog: 'Ducks and frogs at the Chelsea Flower Show'. I by Wildman of Pershore
