asparagus

My local garden centre is advertising leek plants for sale, could this be a misprint or can you plant leeks this late? ref lizzie and leeks no this is not a misprint maybe flying a bit close time wise but leeks are pretty hardy,buy them water them by northwood kirkbys allotments joey

Hello, I have several bags of saw dust & wood savings can it be worked into veg patch and used as a mulch in flower borders ? Regards Sandy I mix it in with what comes out of the shredder and it goes straight on the garden.I'd  avoid treated wood by Sandy14

Growing garlic

Tomato Problems
I've had problems with my Rosada tomato plants this year, both in the greenhouse and in a raised bed in the veg garden. It's either leaf mould or tomato blight. Anyone else had problems this year - is it because of the wet summer??? I would by petehaskell
