events where you can do plant swaps as I have plenty of broccoli but no success with Leeks for example, so would like to get swapping.   Also as someone who has just started growing fruit and veg I would like to hear from any gardening clubs on the Island by greenhousesonline_biz

New to everything ...
Hi folks, I am hoping to grow some veg this year and reclaimed a bit of the lawn to do this. Living on the fylde coast in the north west the soil is quite sandy and I was wondering if any particular veg was more suited to this type of soil by Kazza26

wisteria
Hi I have a beautiful wisteria at the end of my garden trailing on a fence that seperates the garden from the veg patch. I want to remove the fencing to open up the garden and was wondering is it possible and worth my while cutting back the wisteria by Clareea

Invasive roots in veg patch
Hi Last autumn I dug a load of well rotted garden compost into my veg patch and then covered it with strawed horse manure and covered the lot with polythene over the winter. I recently removed the polythene and dug in the decomposing manure only by Mervo Mark
