Clayey soil
please help i have diffent veg plants growing but i have clay soil in my garden what can i plant out into it. thank you   The best thing to do with clay soil is to improve it by adding grit, sharp sand and compost (any type), as clay is inherently by METAL MAN GARDENER

is it too late for this year
Hi I live in north wales and have only just got the gardening bug..I am about to make a raised bed to plant winter veg ( have got summer stuff in pot, bags etc)..but have no idea what to plant and when to plant.. I fear I may be too late by flowergirl4

Tiny flesh coloured mites in soil
of being disturbed they were all climbing up my wellies!  Was going to grow veg but decided to use it for flowers last year instead. (The compost was used in other areas of garden but no sign of them there)  Dug it over again yesterday and seems clear by Linda Mac2

Mares Tail - how to win
