Garlic and what to do next....
with gardeners fleece? Also should I plant in a large pot or the veg plot? (First time I've grown garlic) I'm digging over the veg plot each week at the moment and adding all the usual to break up the soil as its clay and chalk where I live (nestled in the South by The Manic Slughunter:)

Neighbor waterproofing fence and my vegetables!
a few weeks where it says not to eat the veg in that area. So even where there can be a hazard after spraying it doesn't mean it will be for long. I would be tempted to grow flowers and shrubs in that section of the garden or grow in containers by Maria Mercer

Veg planting chart
Can anyone tell me where I can find a good/comprehensive veg planting chart, one that gives you the months to plant inside, outside and when to harvest?   If all goes to plan, I'll be moving to a new house in six weeks time with a 'second garden by LilAmbar

Talkback: Growing veg in containers
've not grown veg before but this year my wife who hasn't had any interest in gardening before decided that she would have a go! I have built her two raised beds out of wood offcuts from other projects around the garden. So far she has peas, carrots and spring by chutneyhunter
