Having moved into a new house two years ago, I have tried, unsucessfully to grow potatoes in my "veg plot". I have tried different varieties, but although I get good healthy growth on the top, and plenty of potatoes, they are all scarred and rotten by Carol Oxborough

Using Railway Sleepers on tiered raised vegetable beds
have dug it all out). Please can you advise how to secure the Railway Sleepers in place?  Also if the Railway Sleepers are treated is this contraindicated to growing veg next to them? Thanks Our veggie plot was a slope and we had a railway sleeper wall by Steph5

I read the "no dig" veg plot in this months magazine with interest, and wondered whether could apply the technique to my shrub borders. Thinking about it my ground elder problem is worse in the more dug areas. I was going to spend Saturday pulling by Supernoodle
