what to do with overgrown patch
we have a large patch at the side of our house which is continuously overgrown with weeds and spring flowers. we have lived in this house for nearly 4 years now and would like to use this space as a vegetable patch next year. we have dug the patch by Claire Rogerson

to grow easy stuff to start, you can become more adventurous as you get more sure of what you ae doing. Good rule is to grow things that are tooexpensive to buy - peas, beans of all sorts, a salad supply, Cougettes,  Plan your plot into 3 or 4 sections 3ft by osso

Alternative uses for a shady raised bed
like to make it into a wildflower bed, or use it as a veggie plot for larger veg that I can't put into containers, such as broccolli, squashes and sweetcorn. Can anyone advise what may be best for this site? Hi Alison If grass does grow well it doesn by Alison Trafford
