. I took plants with me when my husband and I moved to Spain and they self seeded prolifically around our plot in the mountains and looked great growing alongside the wild flowers and grasses. My Spanish neighbours loved them too. We returned to the UK by SuzieC

What do you think of this combination?
Hello, I'm planning on what to plant for next year. The area is around my vegetable plot. It's a raised board, south facing, but gets some shade as its surrounded by other gardens. I want to attract bees and butterflies and have a cottage feel. I by Tina_i_am

Grow it and eat it
started with a group of local residents, clearing overgrown land, creating veg patches, chicken runs etc, sowing and planting etc - then returning to cook the produce. And I think he also started from scratch with creating veg plots and keeping hens by happymarion

watered if you live somewhere that hasn't had much rain. last year my wife made lots of homemade chutney, from all vegetables and fruit grown on our plot, useing green and red tomatoes, chillies, cues, and beetroot, its great to open a jar on Christmas day by juliamalone@sky.com

Cats
of the garden you can put it there after a while of this musical chair placement the cats will (fingers crossed) move somewhere else!! hope this helps. Vegetable plots and raised beds are open invitation to cats needing a toilet.  They just love the bare soil by dg43
