the same problem and when they took them back to the garden centre they said that they had a problem batch and replaced the plants . They're probably too wet, which is down to the weather, not you. If they're in containers you could check the soil for vine by tina 5

nurseries have gone down the tube because the customers were more interested in having a Latte than buying decent plants at reasonable prices. Watch out for unwanted 'bonuses' when buying plants. Several times I've had to remove Vine Weevils from plants when by InsaniD

Drooping Lupins
? If so, look for damaged roots, perhaps by vine weevil? I have a lupin which has just done the same thing.    A week ago I was admiring the 13+ flower spikes on it, and suddenly they all went like an upside-down U.   I put it down to the heavy rain by christine edgeworth

Problem affecting impatiens, tomatoes and geraniums
think fleece is a sensible precaution for couple of days.  I dont think there is an  issue but have a look for soil pests like vine weevil. They do attack pelargoniums and impatiens by pagnew

that there are no vine weevil in the pot - they can also produce a sudden collapse. We have over 30 Acers all in pots. We use terracotta and ericaceous compost. We have found the best variety for full sun without burning (our garden is south facing) is Acer 'Bloodgood by cskourte

Root maggots (I think)
.  Transparent to white worm-like things, will try and get a pic if that helps. Hi Emma, could they be vine weevil larvae? Take a look on a search engine to be sure. These are really common pests of potted plants and can do a lot of damage chewing on the roots by emmarose
