other ideas? Thanks Noodle I love heuchera but have stopped growing them in pots now as I've lost too many to the dreaded vine weevils.  The ones growing in the borders have all been fine. Gentians!   Heucheras worth a try. Ajugas, small varigated leaved by Supernoodle

Slugs v Campanula
on here make me laugh out loud I find slugs eat new growth of Campanula but seem not to like them too much. Vine weevil will also eat Campanula and love to hide under veg on warm walls. by Jane12

Poorly white grape vine
'll give it a go, don't see I have anything to lose at this point Check the soil for vine weevil grubs and the leaves for adults and get some nematodes in if you find any. I can't see any evidence but it might be worth doing in case.  Thanks As an aside by MuddyFork

Talkback: Stag beetles
beetle and a picture of a vine weevil so I can compare and contrast, and only stomp on the vine weevil. At the moment I am leaving everything alone as I am not sure what is what. I have a friend living in Moordown, near Bournemouth and she has Stag by Barbara Pennell

Very sick fuscia
dying.  The other two now look dried up and dead.  The stems have become brittle, although they are still green inside.  I can't understand it, as everything else around them is doing well.  Any thoughts? Have you checked for Vine Weevils eating by The Saint

Potted Bay Tree
sure it is in a sheltered, sunny position to give it the best chance. A thought - did you examine the roots while re-potting? Did they look healthy? And no sign of any grubs such as vine weevil? Hi  i'd concur with Alina, that bay trees like to be fed by Shirls44

Wilted chamomile
as this has coincided with exceptionally weather. Many thanks! It might have wilted, or there might be a root problem. have you checked for vine weevil (white C-shaped maggots with a dark head, about 1 cm in size). Just thought I'd say firstly thank you by Phie'sboots

Fuschia problem
't get heat from sun after 2pm, is well watered and fed with Miracle grow twice since May. There is no sign of Vine weevil and all other plants in the border look OK. The plant is in its second year Any ideas?? When you say there are no signs of vine by Avril Terry

Talkback: Growing auriculas
have lost count of the number of auriculas that the vine weevils have destroyed. I keep my collection in terracotta pots in cat litter trays in a 4 tier mini greenhouse. The cat litter trays are great for watering as no water drips onto the plants by oldchippy
