colour in a shady garden??
hi, im looking for plants and flowers to brighten up my drab garden, which is over looked by woodland and partial shady at best (though better now someone thinned overhanging branches). this year mum and i have decided to re-landscape our 20x15(feet by one girl and her dog(s)

shade loving ground cover
are but thrives in dappled or full shade. It has silver markings on the tiny leaves and throws up purple flowers about now. This plant is so much better behaved than any of the Vincas.   Lamium maculatum is lovely, It doesn't mind what the soil conditions by Tigger Tom

Plants between concrete path and wall
they are not pretty to look at in most cases! I shall attempt to take a photo tomorrow in the light and upload it to help visualise. Thank u! have you thought of planting mimulas (monkey flower) it only needs a couple of inchs of soil and will grow and flower in deep by emilym

Nightmare Garden To Design Around - Help Needed
dimensions so if it's large you could section it for veg growing, flowers maybe, a seating area and your chickens. If it's small you can still grow veg in pots and containers. Would be a good idea to know how your garden sits, is it in shade or full sun all by Myfallenheart
