BBC Gardening Arrivals - Meeting Point

a very miserable lady.
hundreds and hundreds of different types, from a couple of inches high to several feet high, bluish foliage, green, all shades of variagation, purple, lilac or white flowers, recently scented ones coming in too.  I have 65 different types and have barely by dudsybabe1

have another which I can't remember the name of, soft green leaves, very pale lilac flowers and a nice scent, but with very deep roots and new plants popping up all over the place. Dug over the whole bed last year, but still haven't got rid of it. I by pamajo

What's the weather like in your area?

Pound shop plants- any success stories?
for several years.  Just recently it has been growing healthily, but no flowers.  Any ideas? maybe you need to up the feed/mulch and i would prune out old growth at the right time to encourage new shoots that will hopefully flower well for you Roie plum by Surbiton_Margot

Sweet Pea Queries
in Dec 2010, this is my first garden. On clearing up during Jan/Feb 2011, found a leggy thing but decieded to leave it as I didn't know what it was. Turned out it was an everlasting Sweetpea and it flowered great last Summer. When it died back I just cut by David K

sentinels of foxgloves in flower, the peony is just on the brink. First pinks are out as well, will go back out to clear up and cut them for that heavenly scent. Rain forecast for tomorrow afternoon and through the night, so will finish planting up my mate by Wintersong

Unheated/uninsulated greenhouse
, it does need ventilating, even if it's only for a brief spell, to get a change of air inside. Thank you Shrinking Violet. I spent  lot of money and time last year in trying to insulate our aluminium green house with bubblewrap. It's quite an old one by Tinker Christmas Bell
