Unfortunately i found a wasps nest in a bag of compost near the House so i have had by Murray Fortescue

. Bristol seems to suit stone fruits well as we have lots of wild cherries and plums around in the hedgerows. And they seem to be ready to eat before the wasps discover them. No trouble with deer or rabbits though. You will have to pick every morning early by Hazel

to the official calendar......there is a constant stream of queen wasps coming into our house (nasty sting from one last week when I picked up an airing shirt it had decided to hibernate in!), window frames full of ladybirds and cluster flies. So what does lie by Anonymous

in spring.@Margaret5 and @fieldfest - my mum once had a rat in her compost and made me evict it, on Boxing Day! She said it was my fault as I made her garden more wildlife friendly but all she got was rats and wasps. Still, it was the only rat I've seen in a by oldchippy

The Buzzing bush!
realise that laurels are immensely important to wildlife, I call my mature one the local supermarket because from early spring onwards its alive with wasps, bees and other buzzing creatures, let alone the birds that nest. I think only my Ivy does more by Moonlit Hare
