Waterlogged Garden
Can anyone advise what can be done to drain a garden when the water table is so exceptionally high? It is not just us our neighbours are suffering too. I'm concerned about exisiting shrubs, small trees and bulbs. Not a lot I would have thought by JillDann

I have a woodlouse nursery in my garden, beneath a large terracotta saucer which I use as a wildlife drinking water container/bird bath.When I lift the saucer to clean it, I am always delighted to see woodlice of varying sizes scurrying away to hide. by collie_lady

Waterlogged border
If any hole that you dig fills with water it suggests that your garden is very low. If that is the case then you can't really condition the soil to help matters, but need to raise it. Is that all of the time or just after rain? If its drainage after by The Gnomes

hi !! can anyone help ? can i transfer washine machine water to my water butt to use as grey water on my garden ? do i need to add anything to it ? can it be used on plants and veggies ? HELP !!! I personally would use it on ornamental plants by steve king

Help - Water in water butt covered in green slime
of the garden. If yourwater butt collects grey water ie from your household taps then I recommend using a water butt treatment to keep it scum free, HOZELOCK WATER TREATMENT is good. Hope this helps by newby gardener
